The cold weather called for the extra heavy wool quilt made by Mike’s Grandmother probably circa 1940. It is one of my favorite quilts of all time! And oh so snuggly warm!
It looks quite snuggly. It's so great to have that history and memories on the bed. It looks like you are prepared for even colder weather too from the looks of the stack of more quilts at the foot of the bed.
